Volunteering Opportunities

There are many ways to volunteer at the Literacy Center.
Tutoring
Work with students 1-on-1 or in small in groups in one of the following areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Computers, Career Exploration, English Pronounciation and Conversation, Citizenship or GED Prep. > Tutor Training
 
Teacher's Aide
Tutor students in class as a Teacher's Aide.
 
Reception Desk / Clerical Assistance
We always need help at the reception desk.
 

Board of Directors
10 meetings per year. Positions available!
 
Fundraising Committee
Help with annual events and new fundraising ideas. Annual events include the Walk for Literacy and the Haunted Mansion Fundraiser.
 
Building and Grounds Committee
Help care for our beloved old mansion, and the yard.
